How we handle your data
Clarity Hire holds interview recordings, transcripts, and candidate information on behalf of the companies that use it. Those commitments are set out below and apply to every plan, including the free trial.
Encryption & Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Your interview recordings, transcripts, and candidate data are protected with industry-standard encryption protocols.
Access Control
Only authenticated and authorized users can access interview data. No public or anonymous access is permitted. Each user can only see data they are authorized to view.
No AI Training
Your interview data, recordings, and transcripts are never used for AI model training. The AI processes your data solely to generate evaluations and is not retained for any other purpose.
Data Deletion
You can permanently delete any interview recording, transcript, report, or candidate profile at any time. Deleted data is permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered.
User-Initiated Export Only
Reports, transcripts, and PDFs are only exported when you explicitly choose to download them. No data is automatically shared or transmitted to any third party.
Data Retention
You can configure automatic data deletion after 30, 60, or 90 days in Settings. You retain full control over how long your data is stored.
